The newly built Meridian Hotel in Al Woroud District of Riyadh is nearing completion. In collaboration with our partners in IIPC, we designed canopy which hosts solar panels. The goal of the canopy is to have several functions, other than a simple shading structure. The solar panels would have multidirectional positioning to ensure optimum sun exposure and maximize it's usability.

The design of the canopy is inspired by the voloptous curves of the hotel and is positioned directly over the drop off area.
